Innovation Based Economic Development
Green-G Network connects communities and regions with resources (knowledge and financing) to build development projects in distressed census tracts.
Green-G Network Development Projects will be anchored by locally owned businesses that:
- provide real living wage incomes for all employees;
- will not be dependent upon tax breaks or other traditional economic development incentives;
- are based on locally available assets and/or innovations crucial to the operation of the business.
Green-G Network was formed to prove that a new economic development model could be demonstrated that provides a mechanism for “growth from within” instead of over-reliance on business recruitment and/or relocation.
